The author is a 58 year old white male Professor of Philosophy employed for the last 30 years teaching critical thinking, logic, and social philosophy at a state university. He was a 60's radical and currently is President of a chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, a member of Amnesty International, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Abused and Neglected Children.
